Good morning ladies and gentleman !!
Firstly, let’s say thank to God because of His protection we can be together in this place. Before I raise my speech by the topic; “ If I were the major of Kupang city “
I want to introduce my self to all of you.
My name is……………….. I’m a student of SD…………..in the grade ………..
Ladies and gentleman !!
In this globalization era, we are expected to increase our ability in every aspect especially
In education. Realizing that English is an international language, at this time, English is learnt from elementary school, so in the future we can be at the same with other big cities.
And this matter becomes our responsibility as the government and the citizen in giving motivation to our children as young generation. It must be done as early as possible in order to develop their English competence.
That’s why: “ if I were the major of Kupang city “, I would work hard and try hard to increase the quality of education in Kupang as our beloved city, by developing the facilities of study, paying attention to the prosperity of the teachers and giving scholarship to students who are not capable.
Ladies and gentleman !!
At the end of my speech, I expect to all of us; let’s work hard to develop our beloved city that is Kupang city, especially in it’s ten years old that we celebrate now.
